Origin Story
Dan’s career kicked off at 16, knocking on doors and selling personal accident insurance on pure commission. Brutal? Absolutely. Character-building? Without question. By 20, he’d moved into B2B sales, before spending the next decade immersed in global events — supporting sponsorship, operations, and on-site delivery. Known on the ground for his energy and adaptability, Dan built a reputation for being everywhere he was needed, usually with a grin and a memorable anecdote to match.
Weakness
Admin. Still not his natural habitat. But with systems, structure, and the occasional nudge from ChatGPT, even Dan’s inbox is now (mostly) under control.
Current Mission
As an independent Global Commercial Advisor, Dan supports The Global Series by helping introduce sponsors, develop relationships, and open conversations across the industry. He works closely with the UK team, who retain responsibility for pricing, approvals, and contracting, while Dan focuses on what he does best — connecting people, understanding needs, and helping ensure the right partners come together around each event. Sales may start the conversation, but connection keeps it going — and Dan’s here to make sure those connections count.
