▶️ WHY HEALTH, SAFETY, ENVIRONMENTAL & ESG? There
are few career fields where you really get the opportunity to make a
difference in people’s lives. This career allows me to do just that by
providing a safe and environmentally responsible workplace that actually
improves the quality of life for our employees, contractors and
communities.
▶️ THE PROBLEMS I FIX and MY VALUE-ADDI focus on
addressing poor culture, disengaged stakeholders, regulatory issues,
negative ESG/CSR perceptions, and inefficiencies in project execution
around Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) and Environmental Social
Governance (ESG). I’m a roll-up-your-sleeves kind of guy, equally at
home in the field/plant building relationships with our workforce or in a
board room gaining buy-in for strategic initiatives.
▶️ WHAT DRIVES MEMy
constant goal is to add value for my organization. When HSE/ESG is done
right, the organization can focus on other aspects of the business,
which leads to greater success and increased stakeholder value.
▶️ I’M PASSIONATE ABOUTMy number one priority is to keep people safe and serve as a steward of the environment for the communities where we operate.
▶️ GIVING BACKI
currently serve on the board for Second Harvest Food Bank of Greater
New Orleans and Acadiana where I regularly help staff and volunteers
package food and participate in charity events to raise funds for the
organization. I believe strongly in giving back to the community and I’m
particularly impressed with Second Harvest’s mission to not only
provide a temporary solution to hunger but to also help clients with
resources to aid them in achieving economic stability.
