In his spare time, Phil enjoys supporting his local rugby club (Burton Rugby Football Club), playing guitar and running (slowly).

Phil speaks Italian (his mother is Italian), works hard to communicate in French and German, and holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Birmingham.
