My vision is the elimination of Serious Injuries and Fatalities (SIFs) in the workplace. To advance this vision, my goal is to connect the unconnected, make juxtapositions, and discover new relationships that drive safety innovation.
I am the Founder and Executive Director of the Construction Safety Research Alliance (CSRA) and an Endowed Professor of Construction Engineering at the University of Colorado at Boulder. I am also the President and CEO of Safety Function, a firm that helps businesses translate research to practice.
