About George Warnock About

George Warnock has 30 years of experience in geotechnical Engineering and strategic leadership gained in consulting, industry, and government. He is a member of Engineers and Geoscientists BC and holds a teaching certificate from the BC Teacher Regulation Branch.
George is the Assistant Deputy Minister of the Mines Health, Safety and Enforcement Division with the BC Ministry of Mining and Critical Minerals. George’s previous experience includes eight years with Teck at their Elkview Coal and Highland Valley Copper mines, three years as an Inspector of Mines with EMLI, four years as the Director of Geotechnical Engineering with the BC Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure, and four years as the Chief Permitting Officer with EMLI.
