Health and Safety is a fundamental priority for the United Steelworkers. Ensuring all workers remain healthy, injury and disease free from the work they preform throughout their entire work life, this is the Union’s goal.
For nearly 40 years a personal goal and focus is, all types of workplace injuries are eliminated therefore creating healthy work for all workers. I believe this is achievable, when workers and employers commit to working together in a meaningful partnership.
