I’m a passionate and proven safety leader with over 20 years of experience guiding Health, Safety, Quality, and Wellbeing strategies in high-risk industries including defence, aviation, construction, renewables, and marine operations. My career has centred around building high-performing, empowered teams, driving strategic change, and embedding strong safety cultures within multinational and matrix organisations. I’ve led large, cross-functional teams and influenced at Board and Executive level—both nationally and internationally—on matters ranging from behavioural safety and mental health to business continuity and risk management.
Currently serving as UK Safety Director at QinetiQ, I bring thought leadership and operational oversight across all safety pillars, including health, environment, and emergency preparedness. I take pride in my collaborative leadership style—one rooted in trust, agility, and simplicity—with a focus on sustainable improvement and creating psychologically safe environments where people thrive.
